We are a generation that shares and has access to all kinds of information through the global network. We live almost permanently connected to the world and what is happening in it. We affect and are affected by it.

Moreover, we have the means to record every single experience that is shared with us and at the same time we share it. There is a permanent traffic of experiences, to tell them, to share them or to seek the approval of people we have never seen or will never meet in our lives. We need feedback almost permanently.

At the same time, this same generation, and because we have all these means, looks to the past not without a certain nostalgia and condescension for our ancestors, who did not have the means to have been able to record all that we would like to see, hear and experience from them. We know more and better people we will never get to shake hands with than we do our own grandparents and their life experiences, which are something intimate and personal.

What if we stop the Tears just before they are lost in the Rain? Our proposal ist that: drops over the sea that we stop just before they are lost just touching the sea. We freeze the time at this moment. The Memories, those we would like to share with our families will not be lost.

“… All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die…” – Roy Batty, Blade Runner

We want our legacy to be 100% accessible to everyone with a mobile device or connected to a social network?
Can we somehow preserve content only accessible to our predecessors. Our children, grandchildren,… could access the content that we want to share only with them.

Obviously the present of our generation is the past of future generations, we propose a library for our records, which only our relatives of future generations and through DNA can access. We propose a place of pilgrimage to which we can go once a year: Point Nemo.  It is the point that, geometrically, is the furthest away from the mainland. It cannot be the next door, otherwise we run the risk of wanting to live continuously in those memories, without being able to live our present life as in “Surrogates”. It has to be the opposite extreme. Everyone should be entitled to one free trip a year to this place.

We are working with memories and their digital transmission. Every network scheme is based on our neural network scheme: Connectivity.
We will look at how this connectivity of our brain is constituted and we will take it as a pattern. To be coherent and to achieve a complete connection, without jumps and interruptions, we apply this pattern to a sphere, so that there is no beginning and no end.
This sphere contains a symbolic void that gives meaning to its form.

The neuronal pattern surrounds it with a series of conduits through which flow the contents that can only be accessed with a unique key: our DNA.
From lots of rooms there is access to the core of the sphere on the lower level. Looking out to sea, on a homogeneous and neutral background, we can experience the experience of living the memories left to us. It is not a time capsule, but millions. That is our Reflexion: a Reflection of us that our families will be able to see.

So all those moments will be recorded in time, like drops in sea. Time to remind.
